RCM has recently supplied 6mm double sided Formica Vivix sheets to the construction of the new North Street Apartments on top of the Napier building in Rugby

Central Site Accommodation engaged RCM to supply the double sided Formica Vivix sheets to the outside of the newly created apartments.

In keeping with the traditional look of this fabulous 1920’s Art Deco building, Formica Vivix sheets were the perfect choice to enhance without distracting.

Full sheets were sent to the construction and aiming to blend in with the surrounding look, ‘Off White RA99002’ was the colour of choice for the project.

The building now known as the Napier Building has itself an interesting story to tell.  It once housed the Head Office of the famous Rugby Portland Cement company as was formerly known as Crown House.

The new development on top of the existing building was a clever way in creating and offering extra accommodation, without requiring extra land.  RCM is looking forward to supplying more products of this kind for future developments, such as this.
